We had no idea what to expect hiring a filmmaker from abroad. Watching the final film, we forgot we were in it. It felt like watching a story about two people we wished we knew.
They arrived knowing our names, our story, our nervousness. By the ceremony, they were invisible. The film they delivered was the version of that day we wanted to remember — not the one that actually happened.
